I'm a relatively new resident of Connecticut and this is the first Pizzeria I can say I really like! Nothing against Apizza, but I grew up in NJ and I'm just used to having mozzarella on my pies Anyway, Gia Maria's is a very popular no nonsense Italian place and their food is delish, their staff are great, and they even deliver! My family is very happy we found them!
My first time trying this place out and it was amazing! I’m from Texas so we don’t have pizza there like they do here. The pizza was thin, crispy and flavorful! I’m sure there are plenty of places around here that do the same but this place will definitely be my go to!
I always like this place because Anthony makes very good pizza but Saturday I called and ordered subs chicken parm and Italian combo on the menu the price was 8.50 a sub so my total should have came to 17.00 plus Tax instead the lady there charge me 29.03 when I went there to speak to Anthony he was off I told her the cost on the menu she said they ordered new menus but didn’t get them in yet so my thing is until you get the new menu that customers could see you should be charging from the present menu
I ordered a medium cheese thru the Slice app. It was larger than expected. Well-made pie! A healthy amount of mozzarella, not too much sauce. A crispy thin crust, and overall well-seasoned. Staff was friendly when I arrived to pick up my order. I was too hungry to take a pic before I ate half of it lol
I'm glad I found this place. I recently moved around the corner from here and they have the new haven style pizza on point. I'm glad I don't have to drive out my way for a good pie anymore. My go to when I don't feel like cooking. I recommend you order ahead as they are a small family owned business and tend to be busy often.
